Takes unbuffered and registered modules. The two types cannot be mixed. 192GB (12x 16GB) achieved using Registered modules only. 48GB (12x 4GB) maximum when using Unbuffered-ECC modules. Memory may run at lower speeds due to chipset population rules when fully populated.
